Sex as Visual Art: Once again I seem to have stirred up the viewers with my explicit content. In the past year I have started showing the photographs I use to construct my paintings and the clear autobiographical nature of my work seems to be have taken some of the viewers by surprise. The sex in my paintings is meant to be real and to express a libertine attitude that some seem shocked by. Their were some viewers who seemed to think that I was a naive privative who painted all the images the way graffitie is painted on walls.

Now they know it is both more intentional and more calculated. Some also may think that the whole thing is just an elaborate justification of male promiscuity but it is more of a justification of it's female counter part as in "The Sexual Life of Catherine M." by Catherine Millet. She would make an excellent model. The basic issue seems to be that even after exploring the net in enough detail to find this obscure site, they still think that all available content needs to fit into their personal stereotypes.
